直流無級繼電器即是信號機點燈電路中的信號繼電器,當給線圈通以標定的工作電流,電磁鐵勵磁帶動接點系統,使前接點與中接點閉合,線圈斷電或電流下降達不到規定數值,靠接點簧 片彈力和重錘片重力使中接點與前接點斷開,與后接點閉合,使用或加重錘片是為了從結構上保證繼電器接點可靠閉合或斷開。
